1. About Eagle Rock Camp

Mission Statement

Saving Families. Saving Lives.

Eagle Rock Camp, through faith in action, brings military families together to heal, reconnect in their communities, restore their hope and emerge as an empowered, purpose driven unit.

Eagle Rock Camp’s Mission Statement is something we hear “around the campfire”, within our Team and is the message we share within our communities. The statement is more than what we do. It’s what our military families say they need. It is ever changing as we strive to meet each military family at their exact point of need. It is who we are. It is what we believe.
Eagle Rock Camp is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation founded in August, 2011 and has received a Platinum Rating from GuideStar.

Our Story

Lynn-Marilla-Founder-President-Eagle-Rock-Camp

"I am asked frequently, why I started Eagle Rock Camp. Quite frankly, on December 23, 2010, God tapped me on the shoulder and said ‘I want you to do this’. The ’this’ is turning out to be more than I could ever imagine.

We started out wanting to help the warrior and active-duty service men and women. In doing research we quickly discovered that the entire family had to engage, because the entire family got wounded together. We see marriages restored. We see them go home with renewed HOPE. Yes, we measure HOPE. Many people told us ‘you can’t measure HOPE.’ Well, yes we can.

We’ve come a long way from that first retreat serving just four families. We have grown into a national organization serving at-risk veteran and military families from across the country. Our wait list grows daily. We must do even more.

Their rates of death by suicide, divorce, family abuse, addictions are skyrocketing.

We strongly believe that the family must heal together. The mission of Eagle Rock Camp is more critical than ever.

“This” is seed planting, miracle making, magic producing, HOPE restoring.”
