Application for Military Families
Thank you for your application! We are excited that you would like to attend Eagle Rock Camp. To ensure a speedy process, please take a few moments to complete our application, taking care to provide all the information requested. We process applications in the order that they are received.
Eagle Rock Camp sessions are open to all branches of the military, active duty or veteran families, who believe that they would benefit from attending our therapeutic camp. Please know that our camp sessions are not “free vacations”. They are therapeutic camps with interactive workshops along with therapeutic recreation. It takes a serious commitment to your family to have a successful experience.
Family is defined as the people closest to you that offer support. Traditional families, single parents, siblings, your parents and in-laws, and care providers and service dogs are all welcome.
As additional funding is secured, the frequency of camp sessions will increase. Because of the generosity of a large number of people, we are pleased to offer scholarships to cover the $3,000 cost for your family to attend these retreats. (For families with more than two children, the additional value is $500 per child). Please help us spread the word and participate in fund raising activities with your families. If you would like to host a fundraiser in your local community, we have easy ideas to share with you. Just ask a member of our team!
SPECIAL NOTICE: Once you are assigned and confirmed to attend a retreat, a $100 Commitment Fee (via check) is required to secure your reservation date. The original un-cashed check will be returned to you upon your arrival at the retreat. Your retreat reservation will be secured once your check is received.
Please write “Commitment Fee” in the memo line of your check or money order and mail it to Eagle Rock Camp, 113 1st Avenue South, Conover, NC 28613
We have to guarantee your reservation with our host location 30 days prior to arrival. If you cancel your retreat reservation less than 30 days before your retreat date or are a no-show for your scheduled retreat, you will move into the wait-list for a period of two years and your check will be cashed. All funds will be allocated to program costs.
