Eagle Rock Camp retreats are open to every branch of the military including active duty, National Guard, reservists and veteran families who believe they would benefit from a therapeutic retreat.

Application for Military Families

Thank you for your application!  We are excited that you and your family want to attend Eagle Rock Camp.  To ensure a speedy process, please take a few moments to complete our application, taking care to provide all the information requested.  We process applications in the order that they are received. Missing or incomplete information will cause a delay.

Eagle Rock Camp sessions are open to all branches of the military, active duty or veteran families, who believe that they would benefit from attending our therapeutic camp. Please know that our camp sessions are not “free vacations”. They are therapeutic family camps with interactive workshops along with therapeutic recreation. It takes a serious commitment to your family to have a successful experience.

Our curriculum is all about Marriage and Family, which is defined as the traditional family: Dad, Mom and children. Caregivers and service dogs are welcome.

SPECIAL NOTICE: Once you are assigned and confirmed to attend a retreat, a $100 Commitment Fee is required to secure your reservation date.  Your retreat reservation will be secured once your check is received. The Commitment Fee will be returned to you (via check) once you have completed the retreat.

Please write “Commitment Fee” in the memo line of your check or money order and mail it to Eagle Rock Camp, 113 1st Avenue South, Conover, NC 28613

We are required to pay for your reservation with our host location 30 days prior to arrival. If you cancel your retreat reservation less than 30 days before your retreat date, you will move into the end of the waitlist and your commitment fee will not be refunded. If you are a no show for your scheduled retreat, you will not be eligible for future retreats.

Once you are assigned to a retreat, communication is vitally important. If your phone number or email address changes, please notify us immediately. 704.325.3350 or info@eaglerockcamp.org. If you have any questions about your retreat, please contact us.

As additional funding is secured, the frequency of camp sessions will increase. Because of the generosity of a large number of people, we are pleased to offer scholarships up to $7,500 to cover the cost for your family to attend these retreats. (For families with more than two children, the additional value is approximately $1,000 per child).

Please help us spread the word and participate in fund raising activities with your families. If you would like to host a fundraiser in your local community, we have easy ideas to share with you. Just ask a member of our team!

Thank you all for your service and sacrifices and we look forward to meeting you soon! We will automatically sign you up for our newsletter to keep current with all of our exciting news and plans! Please let us know if your email or phone number changes.

Once we receive your completed application, you will be contacted by an Eagle Rock Camp staff member for further details.

Confidentiality policy: All of your information is kept confidential. Eagle Rock Camp will not use, sell or disclose any information without your written consent.

Per the American’s with Disabilities Act, pets or emotional support animals (ESA’s) are NOT authorized at our retreat locations. Only serivce dogs that are task-trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability are allowed. It is illegal in most states to pass off an untrained dog as a service dog. This is taken very seriously. If you bring any animal other than a task-trained service dog as defined by the ADA, you will be asked to leave the retreat at your own expense and will be asked to reimburse the scholarship fee of $3,000. Please check below whether you will bring a service dog that is task-trained.

What are your transportation needs?
Please note that full sponsorship for travel has the longest wait for a retreat (2-4 years). If only partial sponsorship of travel is needed (up to $200), we can offer a retreat in 1-24 months. If no scholarship is needed, you have the shortest wait and often you may have your first retreat choice. :
